Thank you for considering SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral as a possible location for your wedding ceremony. Our wish for you is that the cathedral will provide the simple elegance of environment and the sacred atmosphere to make the beginning of your marriage – the wedding liturgy – a profound memory, and the start of a long, joyful, and spiritual journey together.
A: No, you need not be parishioners to hold your wedding at the cathedral. Either the bride or groom, or both, must be Roman Catholic.
A: Not necessarily. Couples desiring to get married at the cathedral must provide their own officiant for the wedding liturgy. The cathedral staff can assist you with this process.
A: Your wedding officiant is responsible for completing a marriage preparation program with you.
A: The main cathedral church has a seating capacity of 725, while the Blessed Sacrament Chapel has a seating capacity of 75.
A: Wedding fees are $1800 for the use of the main cathedral church, or $1300 for the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. This fee includes the services of the cathedral music director, who will assist you with planning and executing the music for your wedding liturgy.
